The first iGo summer team of 13 members flew to Japan in 2001 on a 13 hour flight on Friday the 13th. Fortunately, the plane was a Boeing 777.
Before flying overseas, each student receives training that not only equips them for their trip, but also for a lifetime of making God famous. Because iGo is committed to the completion of the Great Commission, we focus on sending students to the least reached peoples on the planet. The entire iGo staff commits to walking with students and their parents/guardians throughout the year long journey that culminates with students traveling to share the gospel among the least reached people of the world.
Since iGo Global is an intra-church organization, we partner with and are sent by local churches. Rather than replacing or competing with churches, iGo seeks to be a vehicle that local churches use to train and mobilize the next generation to Make Him Famous.
God does everything, yes everything, ultimately for His good and glory.
God's plan to bring hope to the world is through His church.
We join God in the work He has been doing since the beginning of time.
When God gives us the opportunity to sow seeds of the gospel into others, we can rejoice.
iGo Global is a 501c3 organization governed by a Board of Directors. Our board provides accountability and oversight for our ministry, policies, and procedures. The current iGo Global Board is made up of the following:

iGo helped develop my leadership abilities. Through being a Team Leader, I was trained to lead other students. While I wasn't always sure of my own ability, iGo trained and encouraged me to do it, knowing that God's ability is bigger than my own.

Through the training and trips, God used iGo to challenge my worldview in the best ways possible, including my understanding of Him, the gospel, and why all of it matters. Having the opportunity to be trained and serve overseas with iGo was an absolute gift from God. I had no idea how greatly that time would impact me for the rest of my life.

I don't think I understood the urgency of sharing the true gospel of Jesus until I went overseas with iGo. I didn't know or feel the lostness of others until I walked the streets of a foreign land. That was when I first realized how much God seeks and searches out the lost sheep.
