Statement of Faith

There is one true God, eternally existing in three Divine yet distinct persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – each of whom possesses equally the same attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality. (John 14:6-7, Matt. 28:19)

Jesus Christ is God, the living word, who became flesh through his miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. Hence, He is perfect Deity and perfect humanity united in one person forever. (Luke 1:34-35, John 1:1-4)

He lived a completely sinless life and atoned for the sins of men by dying on the cross as their substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him. (Rom. 3:25-26)

He was resurrected in the same physical body, though glorified, in which He lived and died. (1 Cor. 15:4)

Man’s nature is corrupted, and we are unable to please God. Every man is in need of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus and renewal by the Holy Spirit in order to enter the Kingdom. (Rom. 3:23-24, Eph. 2:8-9)

Jesus will come again to earth – personally, visibly and bodily to consummate history and the eternal plan of God. (Rev. 22:12-13)

Baptism is an act of obedience that demonstrates the believer’s new life in Christ Jesus symbolizing the believer’s identification with His death, burial and resurrection.

The 66 books, which compose the canon of Holy Scripture, are inspired by God and therefore inerrant and authoritative for our faith, practice, and purpose.

Christians should develop in their faith and be committed to a life of personal devotion to God. Commitment is expressed through corporate and private worship, participation in small group bible study, and meaningful service in a ministry, giving financially in a God-honoring way and intentionally introducing others to a personal relationship with God.
