For Parents

For Parents

Welcome! We hope to answer your questions about iGo and better serve you while you walk through this process with your student.

We all want our students to own their faith, live out their faith, and be able to share their faith with others. That is our goal at iGo, and here are some ways we are seeing that happen:

How Students Benefit from the Trip

Training

iGo Global is a training organization at its very core. This means that:

  • We are devoted to discipling your student as they pursue Christ.
  • We are training them to lead themselves and others in a way that makes an impact on the world around them.
  • We are creating a lasting impact on their Biblical worldview and how they view ministry by by teaching them that missions is a lifestyle, not a trip.

Field Experience

When your student serves with iGo they:

  • Serve strategically alongside local church planters who are working to establish churches among unreached people groups.
  • Learn from local church planters what it looks like to live on mission during everyday life no matter where they are.
Jared's iGo experiences have equipped him to see the world and our family differently than he ever would have otherwise. It's as though an iGo rock was thrown into our family pond, and the effects are still being seen on an almost daily basis. God used iGo to impact Jared and our entire family for the Glory of God in our home and among the nations.

Terry and Crystal, parents

All three of our girls have been part of iGo. Their experiences helped expand their worldview beyond the boundaries of self, to see the value and worth of all people. Today, many years later, all three of our girls still walk with God, serve others, and love all they encounter. iGo played a huge role in that.

Robert and Renae, parents

God used the staff and leaders at iGo to mentor, train, influence, encourage, and pray for my son throughout the years and our iGo experiences. We are so grateful for the part iGo played in preparing him for his ministry as a church planter and pastor today.
