The first iGo summer team of 13 members flew to Japan in 2001 on a 13 hour flight on Friday the 13th. Fortunately, the plane was a Boeing 777.

iGo Global is passionate about students learning how to live on mission wherever they are. Before flying overseas, each student receives training that not only equips them for their trip, but also for a lifetime of making God famous. Because iGo is committed to the completion of the Great Commission, we focus on sending students to the least reached peoples on the planet. The entire iGo staff commits to walking with students and their parents/guardians throughout the year long journey that culminates with students traveling to share the gospel among the least reached people of the world.

Since iGo Global is an intra-church organization, we partner with and are sent by local churches. Rather than replacing or competing with churches, iGo seeks to be a vehicle that local churches use to train and mobilize the next generation to Make Him Famous.

While serving as an AC with iGo I was able to see firsthand that this organization is committed to glorifying God through theologically sound evangelism training that prepares students for foreign and home missions.

iGo opened my eyes to understand this: that missions is not this fancy thing you spend a few weeks of your summer doing in a different country…mission is a lifestyle, regardless of where God has planted you.

Jordyn P

I firmly believe that iGo's best asset is their teaching and training. It not only impacts your cultural adaptation and spiritual life overseas, but the intentionality of your life wherever you live.
