Group Treks-01

Interested in taking a trip as a family? Check out the available opportunities for Family Groups.

Group Treks are mission trips geared specifically for student groups. We handle ALL of the logistics, training, and preparation so that you, as the student minister, can focus on leading and ministering to your team before and during the trip. The first two days of the trip will be an intense, holistic training program called Base Camp. Students will also receive evangelism training each morning while on the field. Throughout these trainings, we teach missions as a lifestyle, not a trip. The church planters we partner with see these trips as an opportunity to train students to live missionally wherever they are.

Many are comfortable postponing or denying The Great Commission because they don’t know where to begin.  iGo was there to help me begin going for the first time in my ministry career. An iGo experience is one of the best things a youth minister can give their students in the short time we have with them.  – Trey Fleming, Youth Minister, FBC Willis TX

On a Group Trek, your students will:

  • Receive cross-cultural evangelism training
  • Share the gospel with immigrants and refugees
  • Return home equipped to live missionally

On the Field

Some of the ministry activities will vary based on location, but every Group Trek will engage in strategic, evangelistic work alongside a local church planter. All of the local church planters with whom we partner focus specifically on unreached people groups. Students will be doing evangelism among people groups who have little to no knowledge of the gospel. Some activities the teams are likely to engage in are relational evangelism, prayer-walking, and hosting community outreach events.

Dates and Locations

We are currently finalizing dates and locations for 2017. Listed below are some of the options that are already finalized. We can also organize trips during the summer as well as winter and spring breaks.

Vancouver, British Columbia with the Gee Family

Gracias, Honduras with the Hopkins Family

Hamburg, Germany with the Bishop Family

Once the dates and locations are set, we put together a budget and give you a per-person cost for the trip. The cost we provide is all inclusive (except for souvenirs). The variables that affect the trip cost include field budget, travel expenses, and training. A 10-day trip to Western Europe will be in the ballpark of $3300 per person. However, the sooner you commit to a trip, the sooner we can begin looking at airfare and lock in the best rate, which can significantly affect the overall trip cost.
