Thanks to those of you who were able to join us for the 2009 Annual iGo Global Celebration Banquet this past Saturday. We enjoyed celebrating all that God has accomplished through this ministry. If you were unable to make it, we wanted to post a few highlights from the evening!
Leon is a Chinese college student and living in Japan. Leon met one of iGo’s interns (Turner Vinson) in the summer of 2007 on a university campus. After joining a group discussing Christianity (which involved iGo interns), Leon asked Turner to meet with him later that night after he got off work (which was midnight). Turner met with Leon, shared the gospel with him, and learned of all the Ancient Work in this Chinese college student’s life. That night, Leon became a Christian, and went to the interns’ apartment (where all the interns were awake and praying for Leon and Turner’s meeting) to follow his decision with baptism. The night involved a lot of tears, worship, and celebration for their new brother.
Leon now leads his own house church that he began shortly after becoming a Christian. He is still attending the same university in Tokyo, and helps iGo’s summer interns by being a great connection for ministry on that campus.
Here is a video of his baptism which we showed at this year’s banquet:
We also showed a highlight video featuring pictures of our various teams from the summer. Thanks to all of you who submitted pictures to our office!

The videos are awesome
